SPRING RUN, PA (August 10, 2016) — For the second time in 2016, the 410 Sprint Cars and 600cc Micro Sprints combine for a thrilling double header of dirt track racing action on Sunday, August 28 for Fred Rahmer Promotions’ Party at the Path spectacular.
The popular 1/4-mile dirt track, known for it’s high-speed, multiple-groove, wing-to-wing action will feature the fastest cars on dirt – the 410 Sprint Cars — competing in a full program of qualifying time trials, heat races, and a 40-lap main event.
The region’s fastest racers are expected to be on hand for the Fred Rahmer Promotions event at the Path Valley Speedway. Pennsylvania mainstays Greg Hodnett, Brent Marks, Danny Dietrich, Aaron Ott, and Lucas Wolfe are projected to join the action at the Path Valley bullring – with Hodnett being the most recent winner after claiming the late June Pennsylvania Speedweek event.
At the last Party at the Path event, Smithburg, MD’s Kameron Morral broke Tyler Walton’s three-race win streak after Walton looped his No. 14T machine on the opening lap. The 600cc Micro Sprints will once again see a complete program of qualifying heat races and a 25-lap feature event.
A highlight of the 410 Sprint Car season at Party at the Path events is the opportunity for a randomly selected competitor to win a four-night trip to Las Vegas, with airfare and hotel accommodations for two people. To be entered into the drawing, a driver must compete in all three of Fred Rahmer Promotions events at Path Valley Speedway.
600 Micro Sprint competitor Perfect Attendance bonuses include random drawings for an XXX Micro Sprint Racing Chassis, a $500 Hyper Racing Gift Certificate, and a test session in one of Fred Rahmer’s RBR Racing 410 Sprint Cars. An additional test session will be awarded to the competitor that wins the season-long Micro Sprint Point Standings.
With the season opener canceled for weather related conditions, August 28 marks the second Fred Rahmer Promotions event of 2016. The staff, as well as, Path Valley Speedway track management are currently working to secure the best possible date for the guaranteed three-race season.
General Admission Tickets for Sunday, August 28 at Spring Run, PA’s Path Valley Speedway are $20 and children under 12 are admitted FREE! Pit Admission is $30.
Pit Gates open at Noon, with Hot Laps at 6:30 PM and Time Trials at 7:00 PM
