WINDOM, Minn. (Sept. 13, 2016) – The National Sprint League springs back into action this weekend with a Midwest doubleheader at two new tracks.

The series will make its debut at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, for the Arnold Motor Supply Shootout on Friday and at U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., for the FVP Missouri High-Banked Nationals on Saturday. Both races are co-sanctioned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and pay $10,000 to win.

Danny Lasoski enters the weekend with a 242-point advantage in the NSL championship standings over Craig Dollansky. However, Brian Brown may be the hottest driver with the series in recent races. Brown has scored four consecutive podium finishes to climb to third place in the standings. He is only 61 points behind Dollansky.

Lasoski and Dollansky are tied with three wins, 14 top fives and 19 top 10s in the 21 features. Brown also has three wins, which is one shy of Kerry Madsen’s series-leading four triumphs.

Tickets for this weekend’s events can be purchased in advance at http://www.SLSPromotions.com.

The grandstands will open at 4 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and racing to follow each night.

After this weekend only a non-points race at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., on Sept. 24 and the 21st annual Queen’s Royale on Sept. 30 and Aug. 1 at St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Mo., remain this season.
