PORT ROYAL, Penn. (October 8, 2016) — Saturday’s Blue Collar Classic race at Port Royal Speedway has been canceled due to rain and varying forecasts that conflict regarding the amount of projected and impacting rainfall throughout Saturday.

With teams and fans traveling from states away for the big 305 sprint show, the decision was made at 9:30 am in order to safeguard the travels and resulting expenses that could be incurred by teams and fans alike.

The October 8 cancellation has set up the following schedule changes for October 15 and October 22 events, finding the xtreme stocks and RaceSaver 305 Challenge rescheduled.

The Keystone RaceSaver 305 Sprint Challenge has now been added to the October 22 Open Wheel Madness program of 410 sprints and URC sprints.

The same program and purse that was slated for the 305 sprints on October 8 will now be run on October 22. However there will be no time trials for 305 sprints.

Starting time for October 22 has been moved to 3 pm.

The 410 and URC sprints will still compete in their regularly scheduled 30-lap main events on October 22. The 410 sprints will race for $5,000 to win.

The xtreme stock program slated for October 8 has been added to the October 15 racing program. It too will be run with the same format and purse in place as was originally slated.
