JACKSON, Minn. (June 28, 2017) – Jackson Motorplex will offer a pair of promotions this Friday during New Fashion Pork Night.
Any Iowa resident who shows a valid ID will get in free and anyone who shows their ticket stub from Thursday’s World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series race at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., will receive half off admission price.
This Friday’s show at Jackson Motorplex will feature 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store, Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods and Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints presented by HitchDoc (which are replacing the Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks).
Mark Dobmeier owns a seven-point lead over Kerry Madsen in the 410 Outlaw Sprints Fueled by Casey’s General Store championship standings. Brooke Tatnell ranks third – only 27 points out of the lead.
Kaleb Johnson holds a 12-point advantage over Brandon Geldner with Shane Fick and Colin Smith both only 16 points out of the top spot in the Heartland Steel RaceSaver 305 Sprints standings.
Mat Hollerich leads the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods standings by only one point over Brandon Beckendorf. Don Gerritsen Jr. is four points behind Hollerich.
Kyle Steuber has a two-point edge in the Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods standings over both Dan Paplow and Jason Andrews.
Friday will mark the second visit of the season for the Heartland Racing Association non-wing sprints presented by HitchDoc.
The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. this Friday. Hot laps are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors ages 62 and older and $10 for students ages 13 to 18. Children ages 12 and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30.
