KNOXVILLE, Ia. (July 14, 2017) — National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum special events coordinator Mike Noftsger is headed to the World of Outlaws-sanctioned Kings Royal championship this weekend at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, for the annual museum-benefit auction. Mike, fresh off his trip to Skagit Speedway for the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup and the activities there, will coordinate the live auction in Eldora’s Multi-Purpose Building on Saturday, July 15, at 2:30 p.m.

Said Mike Noftsger today, “We can’t thank Larry Boos, Roger Slack and Tony Stewart enough for their support of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum all year long, but especially during their Kings Royal weekend, July 14-16. The auction features unique items autographed by many Hall of Famers and current stars. We have vintage prints, die-casts, vintage USAC officials uniform, autographed books, vintage toys and models, museum store items and much, much more!”
In addition, Mike will be selling tickets for the museum’s newest raffle, the “Australian Sprint Car Vacation”. The raffle winner will receive: two round trip airfares from the contiguous United States to Australia, seven nights lodging in a hotel, and two tickets to all three nights of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Warrnambool, Victoria. The winner need not be present to win.

Another feature of the “Australian Sprint Car Vacation” raffle, is that should the winner not be able to attend the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Warrnambool – there will be a $10,000 cash option, in lieu of taking the vacation package!

The winner of the “Australian Sprint Car Vacation” raffle will be drawn during the 57th Annual 5 –hour ENERGY Knoxville Nationals on Saturday night, August 12, 2017. “This should give the lucky winner plenty of time to take off work, get a passport and plan on attending the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Warrnambool,” said the museum’s executive director, Bob Baker.

Raffle tickets can be purchased during the Kings Royal weekend, by visiting the museum in Knoxville, Iowa, or by calling the non-profit museum at 1-800-874-4488.
