MSCS opens 2016 season April 9th at Lincoln Park Speedway

The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series 2016 racing season will begin on Saturday evening April 9th at the Lincoln Park Speedway. The Indiana Open Wheel.Com Racin’ Fest will feature the MSCS Sprint Cars and offer fans the added attraction of a gigantic fireworks display. 2016 MSCS schedule released

The 2016 Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series scheduling process was concluded this week and the resulting schedule is ready to release. This season’s schedule will include 18 MSCS sanctioned events to be held at seven different speedways. The schedule includes a variety of purses paying $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, $4,000, $5,000, and $10,000 to win! The schedule is well balanced with 3 events each month except August and October. […]

Chase Stockon led the last 19 laps to win the non-wing portion of the Southern Indiana Sprint Car Stampede held at Tri-State Speedway Saturday night. The Elizabethtown, IN, driver started inside of row two and used a restart after a caution period on lap 6 to outgun leader Kevin Thomas Jr. and capture the lead. From that point it was show time for Stockon. His car was bad fast and he dealt with lapped traffic with expertise. Summer Showdown at Tri-State Speedway next for MSCS

The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series will be racing twice in the month of June. Both races will be at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana. The first event is the Tri-State Summer Showdown. The MSCS Sprints will participate along with the Summit Modifieds.
