he National Sprint Car Museum’s on-line store is now offering vintage sprint car photos for sale to the general public. To date, over one hundred photos from the donated collections of photographers Al Booton of central Iowa and Herb Zieman of northern Ohio have been scanned and are now available for purchase. The Firestone Twin 275s at Texas Motor Speedway will be identical in almost every way when the IZOD IndyCar Series race twice in the same day this summer, with one significant exception. Both will pay half the points and half the bonus prizes for the event, but the field for the second race will be set by a blind draw, INDYCAR officials announced today the rules for the June 11 race.

Wednesdays with Wayne – Teaming with Travis in Texas!

Wayne Johnson finds himself back in the saddle in south Texas in yet another ride. This time, he’s partnered with good friend, Travis Rilat, and will be sporting familiar colors. The Knoxville, Iowa driver will be aboard the TSR #29 sponsored by F&J Construction as he fills in for Travis. Wayne drove the Fred & Jo Threatt #29 to an ASCS National championship back in 2000 and had several years of success in that machine.
