Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway will present Ladies Night on Saturday, May 7, as part of a four division racing card featuring the Aumillers Insurance 410 sprint cars, the AB Auto Glass late models, the ARDC Midgets and a powder puff race for the ladies on Mothers Day eve.
All ladies attending the races will receive $2.00 off adult general admission.
May 7 will also feature rescheduled Kids Easter Night activities with an Easter Egg scramble for kids age 12 and under in the speedway’s infield just before heat racing begins at 7 PM. Also, free chocolate Easter rabbits will be given to the first 150 youngsters who file into the grandstand.
The wingless ARDC Midgets will make their return to Port Royal on May 7 for the first time in some 10 years, having last competed there with a wing.
Most recently, Steve Buckwalter of Royersford charged to an ARDC win at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night and he’ll be looking to do double duty at Port Royal this week where he is also a 410 sprint winner this season.
Other Port victors in 410 sprints this season include Blane Heimbach, Ryan Taylor and most recently Greg Hodnett in the Bob Weikert Memorial.
The AB Auto Glass late models have had two events to date this year with Waylon Wagner and Andy Haus claiming those victories.
Gates for the May 7 program open at 5 PM with racing slated for 7. Adult General Admission is $16.00 with students ages 12 – 17 admitted for just $10.00
