Tonight’s racing at Placerville cancelled due to weather conditions

PLACERVILLE, CA (5-14-11) – Due to an incoming storm that has been tracked as moving much faster than originally estimated, the management of Placerville Speedway has announced the cancellation of tonight’s championship point race at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.

Racing will return to Placerville Speedway next Saturday night, May 21, with three divisions of racing. 360 sprint cars, Limited Late Models and Pure Stocks. For additional information visit or call the track office at (916) 783-DIRT.

Watch for upcoming news in the coming days on pre-sale tickets for the 2011 ASCS Bullring Nationals at Placerville Speedway that will light up the quarter-mile clay oval on July 29 and July 30.
