Selinsgrove, PA — (June 4, 2011) — Kenny Trevitz of Winfield drove to his first in since 2008 in the 25-lap late model feature Saturday night at Selinsgrove Speedway. The $1,400 victory included a $200 bonus from Selinsgrove Ford
and marked Trevitz’ fourth career win in a super late model at the track.

As the sprint car feature was lining up, the speedway was hit by a heavy
rain shower at 9:30 p.m., which delayed the program by about 90 minutes for
track conditioning. Following the first lap of the 15-lap pro stock
feature, however, rain started hitting the speedway again and the remainder
of the program was postponed.

The 25-lap 358 sprint car feature will be made up this Saturday, June 11,
in addition to the regularly scheduled series of heat races and main event
for the open wheel racers plus late models, pro stocks and the rescheduled
Collier Paving & Construction Roadrunner 20 from April 16. Track gates will
open at 5 p.m., with racing slated to begin at 7 p.m.

Third-place starter Dave Zona powered into the lead at the start of the
late model feature and was chased by polesitter Eric Hons. On a lap two
restart, ninth-place starter Steve Campbell stormed into the third
position. Campbell then advanced to second on a lap three restart and set
his sites on Zona.

On the sixth circuit, Campbell took command of the field with an outside
pass on the backstretch. At lap 10, Campbell was leading fifth-place
starter Chad Davis, seventh-place starter Kenny Trevitz, 13th-place starter
Matt Cochran, and 11th-place starter Scott Haus.

Trevitz took over the second position at the halfway point and reeled in
Campbell. On the 17th circuit, Trevitz made the winning pass using the
outside lane on the fronstretch. At the checkered flag, Trevitz was
victorious by 3.8 seconds over Campbell, Cochran, Davis, and 10th-place
starter Jim Yoder. Point leader and four-time winner Jeff Rine started 12th
and finished sixth.
