The Bay Cities Racing Association continues its 71st season at the 3/8 mile paved Madera Speedway this Saturday for the Harvest Classic. Scott Pierovich and Chad Nichols each have wins at Madera this year. Nick Foster Jr. leads the BCRA Championship while Chad leads the pavement series points.
Nick will be piloting the Jim Fowler #1 Beast/Gearte and Chad will be in his #17n Beast/Esslinger. Other contenders will be Floyd Alvis in his #83 Stealth/Gearte, Rick Holbrook in the Peggy Holbrook #6 Stealth/Ecotec, Danny Parker in the Bob Roza #20 Stewart/Esslinger, J.R. Williams in his #74 Stealth/Ecotec and Floyd Alvis’s #18 Stealth/Esslinger with a driver to be named later.
Joining the Midgets will be the USAC Sprints and 410/360 Super Modifieds. Pits open at 12:30pm with practice beginning at 2:00pm.
