KNOXVILLE, IOWA (December 19, 2011) – The first “Sprint Car 101 – Third Thursday Series” program of 2012 will take place on Thursday, January 19, at the National Sprint Car Museum and it will feature veteran sprint car owner Lonny Parsons. The metro Des Moines resident has long been a staple on the National Sprint Tour (NST) and World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series national tours and is willing to share his stories from life on the road with the Casey’s General Stores-sponsored number 6 machine. The program, which is free and open to the public, will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Central.
