KNOXVILLE, IOWA (February 8, 2011) – The National Sprint Car Museum’s “Sprint Car 101” Third Thursday Series will continue on Thursday, February 16, with “Introducing Jamie Ball”. The free and open-to-the-public program will be held on the museum’s second floor and it will begin at 7 p.m. This ninety-minute program will be the year’s second in the educational and entertaining series which is aimed at new-comers to, and veterans of, the sport of sprint car racing.

According to museum executive director Bob Baker, “We are very excited to be welcoming Jamie Ball, who was runner-up to champion Carson McCarl in Knoxville Raceway’s 2011 winged 305-cubic-inch sprint car division points, to our series. He is a graduate of English Creek Raceway and the Knoxville native will be moving up to the ‘360’ class every Saturday night in 2012.
