SANTA MARIA, CA – JULY 18, 2012… On September 22nd, the USAC West Coast and ASCS Canyon Sprint Cars will close out the “Grudge Series” at Peoria, Arizona’s Canyon Speedway Park. The $2,500-to-win, $300-to-start “Brawl For It All” will showcase many of the best non-winged drivers from Arizona and California as they battle for bragging rights and a $5,000 championship.

Thanks to Southwest Contractors, Hoosier Tire, and ParkerStore of Phoenix, the 3-race USAC vs. ASCS “Grudge Series” has a point fund of $15,000 and is contingent on 100% support. Series Promoters Chris Kearns and Kevin Montgomery are continuing to search for additional sponsorship and the current point fund is listed at the end of this release.

On March 8th, Campbell’s Bud Kaeding won the “Sin City Showdown” in a photo finish at Las Vegas. When the mini-series resumed at Santa Maria on July 7th, “The Kruser” Cory Kruseman of Ventura dominated the “War at the Shore.” Canyon’s “Brawl For It All” is shaping up to be an event that race teams and fans should mark on their calendar.

Heading into the September 22nd finale, Hollister’s Ryan Bernal has a slim lead in the “Grudge Series” point standings. With a potential $7,500 payday up for grabs, last year’s USAC West Coast Rookie of the Year will have to battle a talented roster of drivers. “Showtime” Danny Sheridan, Troy Rutherford, Bud Kaeding, R.J. Johnson, “The Kruser” Cory Kruseman, Mike Spencer, “Hollywood” Danny Faria Jr., “The Real Deal” Rick Ziehl, and Brody Roa round out the top ten in points.

Canyon Speedway Park is located at 9777 West Carefree Highway in Peoria, Arizona. To get to the track, take Lake Pleasant Parkway, then 1.3 miles West on Carefree Highway. More event information can be found canyonspeedwaypark.com or calling (602) 258-7223 (RACE).
