Birch Run, MI — (August 1, 2012) — This Friday, August 3rd, the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints will make their second and final appearance of the season at the famed Dixie Motor Speedway located in Birch Run, MI. Season points leader Bill Tyler of Parma, MI will lead the group with a small point lead to the 4/10 mile speedplant.

While Tyler sits atop the point standing with just two events left in the 2012 racing season for the AVSS, Ryan Litt from London, Ontario, Canada is just a mere 16 points behind Tyler. Litt will be returning to Dixie Motor Speedway in his family owned BS&B Radiator sponsored sprint car. Sitting third in points is AVSS veteran Kevin Feeney who is just 10 points behind Litt. Feeney has been driving for Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee Marv Carman.

Also scheduled to appear in the Tony Nosal owned #42, will be racing veteran Brian Tyler. Brothers Bill and Brian Tyler both have a long history of auto racing in many different forms. Bill started his career in 1974, with over 80 feature wins in both sprint cars, and late models. Several tracks and series points championships would also follow. In 1981 Bill also would drive an Indy car at Pocono International Raceway.

Brian Tyler, the younger brother of Bill, also has a storied career. Brian got his start on motorcycles in 1976. His career would see feature wins, and championships in several different sprint car organizations including USAC. In 1996, he moved to Indianapolis, and was offered an Indy car ride for Arie Luyendyk in 1998. Brian would race in 10 events, finishing second in the Rookie of the Year standings for the IRL Indy Car Series. Brian would continue to race USAC competition, even racing with ARCA, and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Also on hand with the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints is the ARCA CRA Super Series with a 125 lap feature event. Factory stocks, bombers, and figure 8 races will also be on the card for the evening.
