By Dick Jordan

Bud Kaeding of Campbell, Calif. resumes his 2012 USAC West Coast Sprint Car title hunt this Saturday night when the Series returns to Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif.

Kaeding has built a 92-point cushion over Markus Niemela as a result of two wins and three seconds in nine starts. He has a win and two fifths in his three Kings appearances in 2012.

Niemela has been third, fourth and seventh in his three Hanford starts this season and was the fastest qualifier there last month.

Richard Vander Weerd and Ryan Bernal, like Kaeding, also own victories at Kings Speedway this season.
