With the World of Outlaw season getting underway, and the WSS season in Australia quickly wrapping up, Factory Kahne shocks are continuing to beat the best of the best, as Daryn Pittman bested the Outlaws during their season opener, and Shane Stewart swept the WSS event in Bunbury.
Showing speed in Ocala, FL last week in his debut in the KKR No.9, Daryn Pittman stepped it up a notch during the World of Outlaws season opener, as he picked up the opening night win, and followed it up with an eleventh to second run on Saturday and an 11th to fifth run on Sunday, earning him the DirtCar Nationals title with his Factory Kahne shocks, on a trio of different tracks.
In Australia, American pilot, Shane Stewart, broke through in a big way with the WSS, as he swept the series’ penultimate event at Bunbury with his FK’s, and put his Monte Motorsports machine within striking distance of the WSS championship that will be decided this weekend.
Paul McMahan, too had a great weekend with his shock package as he picked up quick time in two of the three events at the Volusia Speedway Park aboard his CJB Motorsports No.51.
In New Zealand, Brad Mosen used his FK midget shocks to dominate the feature event at the Bay Park Speedway on Saturday night on the super slick track.
