Pittsburgh, PA (March 31st, 2013) – Danny Holtgraver kicked off his 2013 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ ‘Ohio Region’ schedule this past Saturday night, March 30th, at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, who is now a full-time competitor with the All Stars in 2013, battled tough with an ill-handling race car for most of Saturday’s ‘Spring Nationals’ main event at Attica Raceway Park, and still managed to bring home a top fifteen finish. Holtgraver, who pilots the B&R Racing, Canton Erectors, Berlin Natural Bakery, no. 45 sprint car on the All Star circuit, would finish 15th, officially, during the 40 lap, UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, ‘HD Supply/Construction Equipment and Supply Spring Nationals’ main event.

“It was just a tough night for us” explained Holtgraver, “This is a brand new team and we are still learning alot about each other and the cars…this team works really hard; we’re just missing something, yet…I can’t thank Bryan Grove and Rob Hunter enough for this opportunity…they are great owners and they are patient with us during this learning curve…we’ll just keep plugging along and things will come together soon!”

The B&R Racing ‘45’ team, lead by seasoned crew chief, Brian Kemenah, opened their ‘Spring Nationals’ at Attica Raceway Park with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions by timing sixteenth (16th) fastest out of the thirty-two (32) teams entered for qualifying time trials. A sixth place finish during heat race action would force Danny Holtgraver to compete in the evening’s consolation B-main. The former Lernerville Speedway sprint car track champion and All Star winner would transfer through the consolation B-main, and earn an inside eighth row starting position in the evening’s 40 lap, $5,000-to-win, UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ main event. Holtgraver would battle tough during the entire length of the main event, and cross the start/finish line 15th when the final checkers flew at Attica Raceway Park. Former All Star national champion, Dale Blaney, was the $5,000 feature winner. “We’re still learning” said Holtgraver, “We are working hard to find where we are comfortable…we aren’t discouraged or giving up on ourselves by any means…we’ll keep our heads up and keep moving forward…that’s all we can do right now…I’m excited to get back in the car…track time is what we need!”
