Port Royal, PA – (April 15, 2013) – It will be FREE STUDENT/Camera and Autograph Night at Port Royal Speedway this Saturday, April 20 at 6 pm when the oval will present a three-division racing program of Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprints, Gray’s Auto and Towing late models and River Valley Builders 305 sprints at 6 pm.

All students ages 12 – 18 will be afforded free general admission for the night of racing beginning when gates open at 4 pm.  Students must however be processed through the ticket line before entering.

In addition, free admission to the pit area will be afforded to all general admission ticket holders from 4 – 5 pm as has become tradition for Camera and Autograph Nights at the track.

The chance to visit the pit area for the price of a general admission ticket is an opportunity no fan should pass up.

Fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with drivers, teams and the race cars before they roll onto the track for a night of battle.

And a battle it was at the April 13 Port Royal races as hometown boy Dylan Cisney tussled with veteran Doug Esh for the sprint car victory.

Cisney swapped the lead twice with Esh with 10 laps to go before Esh took the win.

Adult general admission for the race is $15 while students are as already stated, admitted FREE OF CHARGE.

To date at Port Royal, three races for both the sprint and late model divisions have produced three different winners in each class.

Sprint wins have gone to Dave Blaney, Rick Lafferty and Esh while Scott Haus, Matt Parks and Jeff Miller have taken late model mains.

Eric Parker scored the opener for the 305 sprints at the track on April 6.

Port Royal Speedway will present the All Star Circuit of Champions Bob Weikert Memorial on April 27 at 7 pm, paying $10,000 to win.
