Ohsweken, ON – (May 29, 2013) – A great deal is up for grabs this Friday when Styres Gas Bar presents the third round of Ohsweken Speedway’s weekly Friday night racing program. For just $15, fans can meet HGTV star Bryan Baeumler, support a good cause, eat dinner, & get admission to the races featuring the Corr/Pak Merchandising Sprint Cars, Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stocks, HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers.

HGTV’S BRYAN BAEUMLER MEET & GREET BBQ
Fans are invited to come to the track a bit earlier than usual this Friday, when Insta-Insulation presents a Meet & Greet and barbeque with HGTV star Bryan Baeumler. General admission tickets can be purchased in advance for $15 at www.OhswekenSpeedway.com or by calling 1-800-668-0311. The ticket price includes a meet & greet with Bryan, a BBQ dinner, and admission to the races, plus $2 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Baeumler Family Foundation (BFF), a charity dedicated to enhancing children’s physical and mental well-being. The event begins at 5:00pm.

CORR/PAK MERCHANDISING SPRINT CARS
Glenn Styres is undefeated at Ohsweken in 2013 after winning again last Friday, and continues to lead the Sprint Car standings. Jim Huppunen moved up to second in the standings with a strong run last Friday, while Mitch Brown, Jamie Collard, and Chris Steele hold spots in the top five.

AFFORDABLE TOWING & RECOVERY THUNDER STOCKS
Bryce Richardson was awarded the feature win last Friday, but Jim Lampman took over the lead of the Thunder Stock standings by moving up from 16th on the grid to finish third. Opening night winner Cory Turner is just 2 points behind in second, followed by Lee Winger, the #5h team of Devin Habiuk and Pete Reid, and Richardson in 5th.

HRW AUTOMOTIVE MINI STOCKS
Davey Boughton continues to lead the Mini Stock standings, as he followed up his opening night win with a runner-up finish to Laura Hughes last Friday. Hughes’ first Mini Stock win vaulted her to second in the standings, followed by Alex Schuts, Robin Elliott, and the #66 team of Jon and Brandon Janssens.

GALE’S AUTO AFTERMARKET BOMBERS
Brady Longboat took the lead in the Bomber standings when he won the feature last Friday night, while opening night winner Jesse McDonald fell back to second, but just three points behind. Max Chechalk is currently third in the standings, while Tim and Dusty DeBoer are tied for fourth.

NEW START TIME
Start times for weekly Friday night racing events at Ohsweken Speedway have changed for 2013. The pit gates will normally open at 5:30pm, and spectator gates will continue to open at 6:00pm, while the first race will now take the green flag at 7:30pm.
