Port Royal, PA — (July 30, 2013) — A well known Todd Shaffer car owner and Patty Beam driver have been added to the roster of visiting stars expected to be on hand for this Saturday’s Living Legends Dream Race at Port Royal Speedway.

Already confirmed for the event are Beam drivers Scott Gesford, Larry Jackson, Chuck Reinert and Kevin Nouse along with Shaffer himself.

And now TJ Stutts has confirmed his intent to be on hand to join in the autograph session with fans prior to the races before competing in the Dream event in his No. 2T later in the night.

Stutts piloted the Beam No. 88 early in the 2006 and picked up a pair of victories in the area.

Beam of course, aside from being honored as a Living Legend, was one of the most prominent of Shaffer’s car owners for nearly two decades but another owner along the way was Souderton couple Jim and Laura Allebach.

Shaffer pocketed a few wins for the owners in 2006 and the Allebach’s will be on hand for the event as well.

Also confirming their intent to attend in honor of Beam’s first driver are Diane and Steven Yingst, the wife and son of late original Beam team driver, Maynard Yingst.

Maynard Yingst was Patty Beam’s first driver in the famed No. 88 and along with Shaffer, it was Yingst who solidified the Beam team’s place in Central Pennsylvania sprint car lore, picking up numerous popular victories in the region during the mid-1980s.

The autograph session and meet and greet will take place underneath the Port Royal grandstand Saturday from approximately 5:30 to 6:15 pm.

Racing begins at 7:30.  Gates open at 4:30 pm.
