Frontier Region wraps up inaugural season in Billings

– TULSA, Okla. (September 17, 2013) The inaugural season for the Montana based Frontier Region will come to a close this Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 at the Billings Motorsports Park just north of Billings, Mont.

Joe Ramaker has closed the gap on Phil Dietz to only 52 points with the weekend double header offering a chance to capture the series title. Trever Kirkland stands third in regional points with David Hoiness and Paxton Lambrecht completing the top five.

A quick look at season stats headed into the closing weekend, Trever Kirkland and Phil Dietz have each started the sixteen A-Feature events contested in 2013. Fifteen starts go to Joe Ramaker, Jeremy McCune, and David Hoiness. Damon McCune (11), Mark Sweet (11), Vernon Hill (10), and Kelly Miller (10) complete the top ten in A-Feature starts this season.

Win totals find Joe Ramaker topping the list with eight triumphs to his credit. Point leader Phil Dietz has topped the Frontier Region three times with David Hoiness, Tony Bruce, Jr., Jason Johnson, Jerry Brey and Randi Miller each grabbing a single victory.

Ramaker’s dozen top five finishes put’s the Idaho driver atop the chart while Phil Dietz tops top ten’s with 14 to his credit throughout the season.
