Ohsweken, Ontario – February 4, 2014 – The Canadian Motorsports Expo is a sure sign that race season is on the horizon. Ohsweken Speedway will have a display booth, and take part in several other events taking place at the CME in Mississauga, Ontario this weekend: February 7th, 8th, and 9th.
A complete car from Ohsweken’s new 602 GM Crate Engine powered Sprint Car division will be part of the Ohsweken Speedway display in booth #104, along with a Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Car from Team Turner Racing. Make sure to stop by to see the cars, and pick up your poster calendar, schedule, and 2-for-1 pass good for any regular Friday night racing event at Ohsweken in 2014.
Ohsweken Speedway owner Glenn Styres will take part in the Short Track Promoters Panel scheduled for 10:30am on Saturday, February 8, while 2013 Ohsweken Speedway champions Jim Huppunen, Lee Winger, Davey Boughton, and Dusty DeBoer will take the stage at the Short Track Night of Champions celebration at 5pm on Saturday. A one hour information seminar will be held on Sunday, February 9 at 1pm in Aviation Room C for those interested in learning more about Ohsweken’s new Crate Sprint Car division.
The International Centre is located at 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga, Ontario. NASCAR personalities Richard Petty and Ryan Newman are both scheduled to appear at the show this weekend, along with many other special guests.
