Tulsa, Oklahoma (February 17, 2014) – The Oil Capital Racing Series ‘non-wing’ sprint car event scheduled for the Brill Motor Speedway in Meeker Oklahoma on March 29th has been removed from the 2014 OCRS schedule. “We (OCRS) appreciate Mark and Debbie Brill for trying to hold our 2014 season opener,” commented series president Barry Grabel. “Due to some factors that OCRS fully understands, it was best for both parties to remove the race date at this time. The Brill’s have been wonderful promoters to work with and we would race for them anytime.” OCRS is actively looking to add another non-wing date on the schedule so stay tuned.

The 13th season opener for OCRS will now be at John and Nicky Webb’s Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore Oklahoma on Saturday April 5th. This will be a ‘winged’ sprint car show. The season opener at WSS will be followed by a visit to the brand NEW Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma on April 12th.
