(Perris, CA, February 26, 2014) For the second year in a row, Perris Auto Speedway is teaming up with Raymond Karr’s ShortTrackin.com for fantasy league competitions at the world famous Riverside County clay oval. Fans can participate in one or all four of the leagues and it is absolutely free to play.
There will be separate games for the USAC/CRA Sprint Car races at The PAS along with the resident PASSCAR Modified, Street Stock and American Factory Stock classes. Players can simply go to the website http://www.shorttrackin.com/ create a user name and password and make their selections. They can change their picks a few hours before every race and at the end of the season there will be champions for each category.
“The fantasy league was very popular with everyone last year Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian said. “It gave fans extra to cheer about at all of the races and people were talking about it at the races and online, too. We initially thought it would be just fans participating, but it ended up being fans, drivers, owners, crews and even a few officials. And, there were not only people from across the USA playing, but from all over the world.”
Last year’s Factory Stock class had co-winners Kris Carnish, who actually competes in that class at the track, and Steve Hopping from New South Wales in Australia. Arizona’s Clint McSorley was the USAC /CRA champion while PASSCAR racers Steven Fangmeyer and Nathan Deragon won the Modified and Street Stock classes respectively.
“We had cool prizes for a couple of last year’s categories,” Kazarian said. “We hope to have an announcement on some prizes for this year in the near future.”
Signups for this week’s season opening race at The PAS will close at 3:00 PST on Saturday, March 1st.

Camping for all events at The PAS is available for $25.00 per night. The campground will open at noon on Friday. Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.

Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego.
