The Rislone URC Sprints will return to the Big Diamond Raceway this Friday night with racing action getting underway at 8 PM. Mark Smith of Tower City, PA won the Rislone URC event last Saturday night at the Selinsgrove Speedway, leading the entire twenty-five lap distance. Also planning to take part with URC is eighteen year old Eric Riggins, “The Carolina Kid” from Charlotte, NC. Riggins won the final two events on URC’s 2013 season and is one exciting driver to watch. Along with Mark Smith and Eric Riggins, you can count on URC’s eight time Champion and winner of forty-six URC events, Curt Michael of Ocean View, DE. Michael won his last feature at the Delaware International Speedway on Saturday night, October 1 and is always a strong performer at the Big Diamond Raceway.
In the URC 2013 season opener, Robbie Stillwaggon of Burlington, NJ was the winner in a dominating drive. Davie “No Panic” Franek also favors the Big Diamond Raceway and will be in the chase for the win along with URC’s Wild Child Josh Weller of Mertztown, PA.
Other URC entries include Boyertown, PA driver Randy West, Ed Aikin, Kevin Darling, Chad Trout, Dan Mazy, Jason Clauss and Troy Betts. Also, Nate Snyder of Halifax, PA will make his first URC start of the season driving the Tim Hogue owned #39.
Joining the Rislone URC Sprints will be the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds and Roadrunners. Race time is 8 PM.
