Adam Pierson of Bradford, Vt. won Saturday night’s 25-lap USAC DMA Midget feature at Bear Ridge Speedway and has the early point lead in the series which resumes May 17 at Bear Ridge.
Pierson took the lead from Timothy Gallant on lap four and led the rest of the way to beat Jeff Champagne, Joe Krawiec, Anthony Nocella and Josh Sunn.
Adam Whitney led the first two laps. The race carried “double” points.
