– Jonathan Allard and his Tri C Motorsports team picked up their fourth win of the season on Friday night at the Silver Dollar Speedway before charging from 15th to eighth with the King of the West Series on Saturday night in Hanford, CA.

“We were pretty good on Friday night, and it is always to nice to get a win, and on Saturday qualifying poorly really put us behind all night,” he said.

Friday night at the Silver Dollar Speedway, Allard started his night off by setting the standard in time trials as he was the fast qualifier.

Lining up fourth in his heat race, ‘JA’ muscled his way to a second place finish, and he then found himself pulling the two pill, putting his Tri-C Manufacturing/K&N/ButlerBuilt entry on the front row for the feature event.

Getting the jump over Sean Becker when the race came to life, Allard had his hands full with a pesky Becker during all 25-laps.

With Becker trying numerous times to slide up in front of Allard, Allard was able to counter his move, and hold strong out in front.

Moving to the bottom line of the speedway with just a few laps to go, Becker went to work on the high side, and began working Allard for the stop spot.

On the last lap, Becker got a run on Allard, and as they had a drag race down the backstretch it was Allard winning the battle and the race.

“It was a fun race with Sean Becker, and we are all happy to back in victory lane,” Allard said.

Saturday night saw Allard and company check in at the Kings Speedway for the Pombo Sargent Classic, and a 15th quick qualifying effort had them on the outside of the inversion, and looking in.

Allard raced well the rest of the night as he was able to get into the fourth spot in heat race action, putting him in the eighth row for the feature event.

In a non-stop 30-lap race, Allard was able to move forward, as he worked all over the slicked off speedway to salvage an eighth place finish when the dust settled.

“We raced really well all night,” Allard said. “We just lacked speed in qualifications, and you can’t dig yourself a hole quite that deep. We are looking forward to Ocean Speedway and Calistoga Speedway this weekend, and hopefully we can put on a couple of shows.”

Allard would like to thank Tri-C Manufacturing, K&N, ButlerBuilt, Platinum Powder Coating, King Racing Products, BR Motorsports, Red Line Oil, KSE Racing Products, Weld Wheels, NGK Spark Plugs, FK Rod Ends, Hunt Magnetos, Longacre Products, Ti64, A.R.T. Speed Equipment and Hoosier Tire for their support.

2014 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-24, Wins-4, Top 5’s-8, Top 10’s-15.

ON TAP: Allard and his team will head to the Ocean Speedway on Friday night and the Calistoga Speedway on Saturday night, both with the King of the West Series.
