Perris, CA — (November 24, 2014) — Ronnie Gardner & Six8 Motorsports hold a sizable lead in the 2014 Western Midget Driver of the Year Championship presented by West Evans Motorsports & Western Performance Parts, with one race remaining.
After the conclusion of this weekend’s three-day Western World Championship, Gardner holds a 41-point lead over Chad Nichols, with 85-points available entering Thursday night’s 74th “Turkey Night Grand Prix” at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway. Oklahoma’s Trey Marcum (250), and Sean Dodenhoff (244) also remain “title eligible”.
