Four division racing shows round out month

Selinsgrove, PA — (April 15, 2015) — Selinsgrove Speedway will present back-to-back four division racing programs starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 18, and Saturday, April 25, featuring 360 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners to round out the month. Track gates will open at 4 p.m. both nights.

The Mach 1 Chassis 360 sprint cars will compete in a 25-lap feature paying $2,000 to win and $200 to start. The Jeff’s Auto Body & Recycling Center/Bernheisel Race Components super late models will race in a 25-lap main event paying $1,500 to win, while the A&A Auto Stores pro stocks go wheel-to-wheel in a 15-lap feature paying $400 to win. Closing out the four division program will be the roadrunners in a 12-lap race.

Drivers in all four divisions will draw a pill number to determine their starting positions in their respective heat races.

Taking feature wins on the April 4 opening night were defending champions Mark Smith of Sunbury and Jeff Rine of Danville in the 360 sprint cars and late models, respectively. The pro stock feature went to Andrew Shoop of Mifflintown, while Brandon Shultz of Milton won his first-ever race at the track in the roadrunner main.

The United Racing Club 360 sprint cars will kick off the month of May in the 35th Annual Jack Gunn Memorial 358-360 Sprint Car Challenge at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 2. Joining the sprints on the racing program will be the super late models and pro stocks.

Race fans can experience a full four division racing card Saturday, May 9, for just $5 general admission for adults and students as part of the Max Media Pack The Track Night!

Selinsgrove Raceway Park will make a third attempt to open the 2015 go kart racing season at 7 p.m. this Friday, April 17. Track gates will open at 5:30 p.m. The first Burris Money Series Race of the season will be held at 10 a.m. this Sunday, April 19.
