TULSA, Okla. (February 16, 2016) Tow Money, increased nightly payout, a lineup that covers tracks in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas, and now a $15,000 point fund ads an exclamation point to the 2016 season for the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, and it hasn’t even begun.

“These drivers are the best you could ask for, and the point of ASCS is to expand, and better the sport of Sprint Car racing, so that’s what our goal is with the Red River Region,” commented director, Terry Mattox, who also heads the NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass.
“The goals when we brought the Sooner and Lone Star Regions back together was to bring a better schedule, and better payout. The first year, each night was $2,000 to win, $250 to start. This year, we brought the bottom end up to $300 to start as well as raise the non-qualifier money from $100 to $150, plus we were able to keep our Tow Money package in place for drivers in the Top-10 who are members in good standing,” said Mattox. “The next step was to bring the point fund up where it needs to be, and thanks to our sponsors, we were able to do that this season.”
The final payout will cover the Top-10 in Regional standings that are members in good standing, having completed 70% of the season’s schedule. Membership forms are available now at http://www.ascsracing.com.
The 2016 season for the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products kicks off Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network at the Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.
