WINDOM, Minn. (April 11, 2016) – The GoMuddy.com National Sprint League 360 NCRA/NSL Region resumes competition this Saturday at 81 Speedway.
It will mark the third race of the season at the 3/8-mile oval in Park City, Kan., for the region, which co-sanctioned the Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout with the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Series last month.
“We’re looking forward to getting back in action this weekend,” GoMuddy.com NSL 360 NCRA/NSL Region Competition Director Mark Lary said. “The series had a strong debut so we’ll try to keep that momentum going this Saturday at 81 Speedway.”
Derek Hagar swept the opening doubleheader, including the $10,000-to-win finale. Danny Wood, John Carney II, Brian Brown and Danny Lasoski also garnered podium finishes during the Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout.
A strong contingent of regional cars is expected on hand for this Saturday’s event, which costs $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and younger.
Front gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

CASH BOWL –
The GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Series has more than $500,000 up for grabs during the 2016 season. The series established the ‘Cash Bowl’ in an effort to allow racers from across the country a great opportunity to generate money. Any driver who competes in at least one national race and 15 regional races or 90 percent of any region’s events is eligible for the Cash Bowl, which pays $10 per point. The final night of a national event provides 120 points to win and eight points to start the main event. Regional races deliver 30 points to win and two points to start.
Additionally, the top five drivers in overall national and regional points at the end of the 2016 season will split more than $50,000 in bonus money with the national champion pocketing $20,000.
