WINDOM, Minn. (May 25, 2016) – This weekend’s GoMuddy.com National Sprint League 360 Big Horn Region doubleheader has been postponed.

Projected inclement weather for the weekend has forced series and track officials at Billings Motorsports Park in Billings, Mont., to seek an alternate weekend of action.

“We have a lot of drivers and fans who have to travel a great distance so we want to make sure we give them plenty of time to make other plans,” GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region Competition Director Mike Quiqley said. “We had a lot of teams travel far last weekend only to get rained out both nights and we don’t want to ask them to do the same thing again with poor weather in the forecast. Hopefully the summer weather will arrive soon and we can steer clear of wet weather for a while.”

Last weekend’s season-opening doubleheader was rained out at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont. Billings Motorsports Park picked up Saturday’s show hoping to get one race in, but Mother Nature intervened with an afternoon storm that washed out the festivities.

In additional GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region news, the June 10-11 dates at Billings Motorsports Park have been postponed because of a scheduling conflict.

“Those dates are against Castrol Raceway (in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and we want to support a track that supports the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region,” Quiqley said. “We are looking at alternate dates that will work for everyone.”

The GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Big Horn Region is now scheduled to open the season June 17-18 at Electric City Speedway.
