The decision, made late last week ahead of Hurricane Irma, took into account the damage and economic impact that the region was projected to suffer. All of this unfortunately came true.
The next stop for the United Sprint Car Series will be at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, North Carolina for Round #1 of the 8th annual North vs. South Shootout. On the following night, Saturday, September 23rd the series moves less than an hour South to Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina for the Round #2 North vs. South Fnale.
