Willie Croft won the sprint car feature Friday night at Silver Dollar Speedway. Croft took the lead from Sean Becker on lap 19 and never looked back. Becker held on to the runner up spot while Bud Kaeding rounded out the podium. Terry Schank Jr won the wingless sprint car feature.

Dave Bradway Jr. quilt to benefit NARC Benevolent Fund

Each season there are various auctions & functions held to benefit the Northern Auto Racing Club Benevolent Fund, which uses 100% of the funds raised to support the families of injured drivers, crew members and officials that are a part of Sprint Car racing in California.

Carwash Mike fast time award up for grabs at Bradway Memorial

For the 5th straight year at the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial the Carwash Mike Fast Time Award will be handed out. The winner of the award on April 30 goes home with a custom Jagermeister Trophy & a Coors Light Cowboy Hat, in honor of racing super fan & friend Carwash Mike Avilla, who passed away in 2011. It’s also been a tradition to raise money for fast time & has risen to over $1000 for a number of years.

Mini Gold Cup double header weekend of racing up next at Chico

Auto racing takes center stage this Friday and Saturday night at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico. On Friday night, April 1st, the first Chuck Patterson Dodge Point Race of the year will feature four divisions of dirt track warriors. Then on Saturday night, April 2nd, the greatest show on dirt, the World of Outlaw drivers invade the quarter-mile clay oval speedway.
