McKenzie, TN (July 13) – TJ Luedke, Chad Layton, Cody Burks, Jan Howard, Marshall Skinner, Danny Holtgraver, and Tim Shaffer were all recent winners driving J&J Auto Racing cars to victory in Sprint car action.

MIDWEST SPRINT CARS – Manitowoc County Expo

T.J. Luedke charged to his fourth victory of the season on Friday night defeating the Midwest Sprint Car stars in the Eastern Wisconsin Stock Racing event at Manitowoc County Expo. Luedke raced his J&J from deep in the field and was up to fourth on lap 16. Following a red flag, he advanced to third and then two laps following a late restart, he seized control of the race. Luedke passed 12 cars en route to the victory, which followed last week’s triumph.

Excitement seems to fit the bill for Chad Layton at Port Royal Speedway. Earlier this year, he made a last lap pass to pick up a feature event win at the half-mile dirt oval. On Saturday, it was a repeat performance for Layton in Dave Middleswarth No. 7 J&J as he once again passed Joey Hershey in turn three on the final lap to earn a coveted Sprint car victory at “The Port.”

“I turned it up a notch.”, said Layton, following his last lap heroics. ” I was kinda cautious there because I lost brakes on lap eight. We made the best of it. I seen I had an opportunity at the end and I definitely stepped it up.”

Cody Burks continued to show his winning colors at Riverside International Speedway (RIS) on Saturday night. Burks raced the Webb Farms Sponsored No. 38 Dynotech powered J&J to victory in the 305 Non Wing Sprint Car Feature event. It was his fourth victory at RIS this season and came on his 18th birthday.

Jan Howard made it two J&J winners at Riverside as he raced the Stinson Industrail/Brim Snack Food/K&N Filters/Dynamic Electric sponsored No. 46 J&J to victory in Pancho’s 360 Winged Sprint car division.

Danny Holtgraver captured the Sprint car feature victory at Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday night. Holtgraver started his No. D4 J&J in the fourth position, but didn’t stay there long. He took the lead on lap two and remained in front ahead of a stout field of competitors including Ed Lynch, Jr. Lynch started ninth in his No. 2L J&J, and worked his way to third by lap six. Following a lap 11 restart, Lynch moved into second, but Holtgraver was too smooth in front to be caught and scored his first win at the track.

Marshall Skinner picked up his sixth feature win of the season on Saturday night and first of 2010 at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) Skinner drove his No. 26 J&J to win the race.

Dan Kuriger made the most of his first visit to Sharon Speedway winning the Gibson Insurance Agency 410 Sprints car division main event. Kuriger drove his Rock Concrete sponsored No. 08 J&J into the lead on lap four and his pursuit of victory was only slowed with a caution flag on lap 13. He led the rest of the way during the 20-lap race and went on to capture the victory.

Tim Shaffer picked up his 24th career All-Star Circuit of Champions feature event win on Monday night at Chapman’s Can Am Motorsports Park. Shaffer piloted the CH Motorsports No. 83 Kistler powered J&J to his fifth All-Star victory of the season after starting on the pole position.

Doug Esh, (Pancho’s No. 93 J&J) finished sixth and reigning All-Star Ohio Speedweek Champion, David Gravel, finished 8th in his No. 89g J&J.
