3 SMRS GREAT PLAINS MIDGET RACES ON TAP IN NEBRASKA, KANSAS; CLAUSON VICTORIOUS AT 36 RACEWAY

Defending USAC/SMRS Great Plains Midget Champion Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, Mo. leads the series into three events this week, following Sunday night’s race at 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo. won by Bryan Clauson.

Monday night’s race is at the Butler County Motorplex in Rising City, Neb., while back-to-back races are scheduled at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb. Tuesday and Wednesday.

Jerry Coons Jr. won last year’s race at Rising City, while Brady Bacon and Brad Kuhn were the winners at McCool Junction.

Clauson, of Noblesville, Ind., led all 30 laps of Sunday night’s race at 36 Raceway in his Corey Tucker/Kunz Motorsports/BCI Parker Stone Spike/Esslinger Ford. Loyet finished second ahead of Matt Sherrell, Zach Daum and Andrew Felker.
