Spyying On Separate Cities

From Tom Worsley

Daniel Goldoni is in preparation for his debut at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway this weekend as part of the Spyy Racing Promotions team heads to the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic this Saturday and Sunday Night.

Having never raced at Premier Speedway, the Northern Territorian heads south with great enthusiasm and has set his personal goals for the weekend.

“I’ve heard it’s an awesome place to race. I’ve been to the Classic as a spectator and I think it is one of the best tracks in Australia,” claimed Goldoni. “We’re just excited to be a part of it and hoping to learn a lot and come home with a straight car.”

Goldoni has had some seat time in the Spyy #NT7 at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway in recent weeks, getting to know the car and ironing out some teething problems.

He explained, “I feel like we have sorted it out. We still have a few little issues and had some back luck but we’ll head to Warrnambool with a fresh face and hopefully turn it into some results.”

Meanwhile Tyrepower Sydney Speedway will see Jarrod Goldoni, Geoff Piekar and Scott Yallop this Saturday night take part in the their Wingless Sprints. Goldoni will pilot the hot pink #NT5 ‘Cancer Charity’ car, Piekar in the #N10 rocket and Yallop in the flouro orange #N94 in the event in a warm up to Tuesday night’s Tri-Series round.
