Juniata Junction Car Show Saturday, Wings Unlimited Announces Support

Port Royal – Juniata Junction restaurant in Mifflintown will play host to several Port Royal Speedway drivers and racecars on Saturday, April 2 from 1 – 4 PM as part of a motorsports exhibition and show.

Located adjacent to the blinking light intersection of Rt. 75 and William Penn Highway, Juniata Junction is a full-service restaurant featuring made to order meals for the family or the race fan on the go.

Door prizes including passes to the races will be up for grabs.

Following the show, Port Royal Speedway will host a full program of racing sponsored by the Juniata Junction beginning at 7 PM, featuring the 410 sprints, late models and pro stocks. It will be the first appearances of the season for the late models and pro stocks.

Biglerville wing manufacturer Wings Unlimited joined the fold of speedway sponsors this week, announcing its plans to give away $3,500 in product vouchers to winged competitors and teams during the course of the 2011 season.

In business since 2000, Wings Unlimited is a local and national supplier of premier sprint car wings and can be found on the internet at www.sprintwingsunlimited.com.

Wings Unlimited joins Keizer Wheels as dedicated supporters of the track and its racers for 2011.

Keizer has dedicated $6,500 in product vouchers to be distributed to the sprint car and late model classes throughout the year.

Pit gates for the April 2 program will open at 4 PM with general admission gates opening at 5 and racing slated for 7 PM.

Adult general admission is $15.00 with students admitted for $10.00.

Draws will be used to set the starting lineups for all divisions.
