Cold wet weather once again forced the cancellation of Williams Grove Speedway Friday night. The weather cleared Saturday allowing both Port Royal and Lincoln to get their shows in. At Lincoln Speedway Mike Bittinger won and became the 8th different Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series feature winner for 2011.
At Port Royal Ryan Taylor took the win to become the 9th different feature winner in the series.
Lance Dewease holds on to the point lead by 30 over Tyler Walker. Unfortunately Tyler Walker was injured at Port Royal Saturday night when a clump of dirt came through the lower right side panel and hit his leg. He was taken to Hershey Medical Center where X-rays showed a fractured fibula. No cast needed, just rest and he will be racing next weekend.
The Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series Presented by Hoseheads continues next weekend with Williams Grove Speedway Friday night April 8th, Port Royal Speedway and Lincoln Speedway Saturday night April 9th, then Susquehanna Speedway Park Sunday April 10th.
