Port Royal – The racing program scheduled for Saturday, April 23 at Port Royal Speedway has been cancelled due to rain and wet grounds that have plagued the oval the entire week.
Kids Easter Night activities including an egg scramble and free chocolate rabbits to the first 150 youngsters passing through the general admission gate have been rescheduled for Saturday, May 7 when the ARDC Midgets will join the 410 sprints and late models.
May 7 will also be Ladies Night, which offers $2.00 off of ladies adult general admission.
The speedway welcomes an invasion by the All Star Circuit of Champions sprints this coming Saturday, April 30 for the Bob Weikert Memorial.
The race will be 30-laps in distance paying $5,500 to win and $100 to lead a lap. Time trials begin at 7 PM.
