After a season of King of the West racing, Chico, California’s Jonathan Allard, is set to defend his home turf as the coveted World of Outlaws make their way out west over the next two weeks.
Allard, and his Williams Motorsports team, are set to meet up with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ starting this Friday at the Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington.
Skagit has been a special place to Allard as he has now picked up three Dirt Cup Championships at the famous facility.
The most recent came this past June where JA got the best of Shane Stewart in the early stages of the race, before Stewart faded toward the end.
Allard will make the weekend double at Skagit, before heading to Cottage Grove Speedway on Monday night, a track he also won at earlier this season, before returning to his home track of Silver Dollar Speedway for the Gold Cup Race of Champions.
“My favorite time of the year has to be the West coast swing with the Outlaws,” explained Allard. “They are the best of the best, and it really tests you when they come out to the tracks we frequent the most.”
Allard will be in action Friday night at the Skagit Speedway for the first night of the World of Outlaws ‘’Gold Rush Tour”.
