Bakersfield, CA – October 26, 2011

McQueen Racing is gearing up for this Saturday’s 3rd Annual Pumpkin Cup at the 1/3-mile Chowchilla Speedway. Team owner Shannon “Lightning” McQueen will be joined by 2012 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals teammate 16-year-old Harli White of Oklahoma, with fellow teammate Michelle Decker of Oklahoma also present to help coach Harli in her Midget debut.

“Lightning” McQueen is hoping to score her second feature victory of the year in one the potent McQueen Racing #7 Spike/Esslingers in the Bay Cities Racing Association event, while the young Harli will be gaining valuable behind-the-wheel experience.

Harli made the A-Main in two different classes at the Tulsa Shootout, has multiple feature wins in ASCS2 Micro competition plus countless Top 5 and Top 10 runs.

After 19 races, including one feature victory, seven seconds, 12 Top 5s and 18 Top 10s, McQueen clinched the Bay Cities Racing Association Dirt points championship with one Dirt race still remaining with McQueen becoming the first female to win a major Midget championship!
