PETERSEN MEDIA

– American Shane Stewart returned to Australia after winning two of three during last months Ronald Laney Memorial and picked off some huge wins, and this weekend Stewart will compete in his last weekend down under as he is set for the Easter Trail this weekend.

Stewart has been red hot down under as he recently won two huge races, The Krikke Boys Shootout in the Monte No.17 and then the Scott Darley Classic aboard the Monte Motorsports/Monster Energy No.7.

In Stewarts most recent action, he was at Perth Motorplex and he dueled for the lead all night, once out in front, Stewart biked and still finished a strong fourth.

“These guys down here have given me awesome cars in each out our last races, and they have been a pleasure to drive,” said Stewart.

As Stewart’s American season is now on the horizon, he will climb aboard Luch Monte’s Monster Energy No.7 machine for one final weekend, in what will be an action packed weekend at that.

The Easter trail is a three-night event at three different tracks leading up to the Easter holiday.

Starting of on Friday, the event will kick off Friday night at Avalon, before running Mt. Gambier on Saturday and finishing up at Warrnambool on Sunday.

“I’m looking forward to this weekend,” Stewart continued. “We’ve been good at these tracks all season down here so I’m hoping to end my trip down here with great results for these guys.”
