The World of Outlaws made their lone visit of the season in Kentucky on Friday as the Big Game Treestands #7 team returned to Paducah International Raceway. After being rained out at PIR in 2011, this year marked the seventh appearance for Dollansky at the high-banked oval where he was one of the most recent winners in 2008.

Battling a tricky high-banked 3/8-mile track that got progressively slick in time trials, the MobileStar #7 was one of the last cars to qualify and turned a lap of 14.633 seconds, 20th quick. Starting from seventh in heat #2, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ went high and low all over the track advancing to 4th and transferring into the main event.

In the 30-lap A-Main the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim prepared by DJ Lindsey, Luke Dollansky, and Pete Stephens lined up outside of row ten. As the main event got underway, Dollansky advanced a few positions in the opening circuits as track conditions quickly deteriorated just a few laps into the feature until a lap 13 caution when Chad Kemenah blew a right rear tire. Mired back in the pack on the rubber down track the Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products backed sprint car went on to finish 17th.

Heavy rainfall in the St. Louis vicinity Friday night and into Saturday morning has postponed the event originally scheduled for tonight at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to October 13th. Racing now resumes on Friday for the Big Game Treestands #7 team at Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Missouri.
