SYRACUSE, NY – In another exciting sponsorship announcement, the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) would like to welcome AKS Firearms from LaFayette, NY. The AKS Firearms Top Gun Central New York Tour will consist of ESS full point events at the Rolling Wheels Raceway Park, Canandaigua Motorsports Park and the Brewerton Speedway.

The winner of the three race series will be receiving a very unique package valued at $1,300 from AKS. A 20-28 gauge shotgun from O.F. Mossberg & Sons along with a specially designed deluxe takedown shotgun case will be awarded at the annual awards banquet on November 17th at the Vernon Downs Casino and Hotel. The shotgun is of black walnut stock, game scene engraving along with chrome plated chambers and bores.

AKS Firearms is spearheaded by modified driver and successful businessman Tony Steiner. Steiner also owns NYTECH Supply which is located on the same property in LaFayette. Steiner runs both dirt and asphalt with his always sharp looking #13 modifieds and is coming off very successful events last October at Super Dirt Week.

AKS Firearms is your one stop shop where everything on “Gallery of Guns” is at your fingertips. You can either stop at the showroom in LaFayette or visit their website at www.aksfirearms.com . A brand new website is in the process of being launched to make your shopping easier. Please also visit www.nytechsupply.com for products and services provided by Steiner’s other business as well as www.tonysteiner.com to view all the exciting news on his race team for 2012.

The adding of the Top Gun CNY Tour is another in long line of point sponsorships that have been announced for the 2012 season for ESS. Teams not only will be vying for the largest night purse of any sprint car organization but all the largest point fund as well.

A very successful opener was held last week at the Can-Am Motorsports Park where 35 sprint cars filled the pits which saw first year sprint car campaigner Sammy Reakes IV narrowly beat out defending champion Chuck Hebing for the history making win.

Next up for the Lucas Oil Tour will be the two-day Can-Am Challenge at Autodrome Granby where the winner on Saturday night will take home over $5,000 on May 11 & 12. The next full point events on the schedule are the $2,000 to win Earl Halaquist Memorial at the Fonda Speedway on May 26th followed by the first of four visits to the Utica-Rome Speedway on May 27th.
