Hutton Opens ESS Season with First Ever Win at Outlaw Speedway

The new season for the Empire Super Sprints started out with a new face in victory lane on Friday night at Outlaw Speedway. 305 sprint car standout Jordan Hutton put a 360 into his number 66 and came home victorious. It was his first 360 win, and it was worth $4,220 as part of the Cal Lane Memorial.

Empire Super Sprints Kick Off 2026 Friday at Outlaw

This Friday, the Empire Super Sprints are set to roar to life for the first time in 2026 at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, NY. Each season the Cal Lane Memorial is scheduled as the season kick-off for the tour, although the last several years have fallen victim to mother nature who has a near-perfect record in the event for its originally scheduled date.

Big Money On The Line in ESS Finale at Outlaw Speedway

For one final time in 2025, the Empire Super Sprints are set to take the track on Friday at the Outlaw Speedway. As part of the annual Hoag Memorial weekend, Fridays main event will pay $4,000 to win and $400 to start, with $100 of tow money offered to drivers that don’t make the show.

After a strong run resulting in a podium finish earlier this season at the Fulton Speedway, Joe Trenca backed up the performance with his first win of the season on Friday night as part of the Outlaw 200 weekend. Leading all 25 laps, the Clay, NY driver earned $2,000 for his efforts.

After showing consistent speed throughout the 2025 season, Jordan Thomas finally broke through into ESS victory lane Friday at the Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, NY. Notching his third tour victory at the Yates County Oval, Thomas led 19 of 25 laps on his way to the $4,220 Cal Lane Memorial win.

Showdown in September at Can-Am Next For Empire Super Sprints

Following one of the biggest weekends on the 2025 schedule, the Empire Super Sprints are right back in action again this weekend, this time at the Can-Am Speedway in LaFargeville, NY on Saturday September 6. Dubbed the ‘Showdown in September’, the tour will headline the second night of action at the track located just north of Watertown, NY.
