Another afternoon rain/storm cell washes out Fab Four Racing

From Lernerville Speedway

Sarver, PA (July 27, 2012) For the second straight week, consecutive days of rain have washed out the Action Track resulting in the cancelation of Fab Four Racing, the Joe Pitkavish Memorial and the “Cowboy” Brian Steinman Benefit Auction.  Both the Memorial and the Auction have been scheduled for next Friday, August 3 along with ARCH Fan Club Night.

As pointed out by auction coordinator Kayla Duncan, “It just gives us another week to collect more items to auction off!”  With that spirit, next week’s auction will be even bigger and better than what was to be up for grabs tonight!

Just a quick update on Brian Steinman, his wife Bri posted on Facebook today that Cowboy has been moved out of the ICU and into a rehabilitation room!  We all knew Brian would battle through this, but it’s awesome news to see the progress being made and leaving the ICU is a huge step forward on his road to recovery!  Please continue to keep Brian, Bri and their family in your thoughts and prayers!  In addition to items for the auction which can be donated at the speedway office, monetary donations can be made to the Brian Steinman Benefit Fund at the First Union National Bank, 400 Liberty Street in Clarion, PA 16214.

Don’t forget that our Summer Vacation School Bus & Kids Bike Races with Enduro 100 and Trailer Races are less than two weeks away!  Scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, this family friendly event is always a crowd pleaser!  In addition to the trophies and ribbons, the first 75 kids in bike race competition will also receive a “fun bag” full of food & fun!  The Enduro 100 registration forms can be downloaded from our website www.Lernerville.com by clicking the “Downloads” tab on the right hand side.  While you’re on our website, be sure to check out the schedule for the full slate of racing action left in 2012, including the All Star Sprints of Friday, August 31, the World of Outlaws Sprints Commonwealth Clash on Saturday, September 22 and the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stamped of Thursday-Friday-Saturday, October 25-26-27!
