Park City, KS — (August 31, 2012) — Brian Brown started on the pole and led every lap in winning his fourth career National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products 360 sprint car feature event as the tour made their first appearance of the season at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kansas on Friday night to open a huge three race Labor Day weekend of racing.
Driving the #FVP21 Casey’s General Store sponsored Maxim chassis got the jump on fellow outside front row starting Marc Robe and quickly took the lead at the start of the thirty lap feature and set the pace. The Grain Valley, Missouri driver, making his second appearance of the season with the series, would lead every lap and become the fourth different feature winner in as many events and seventh different driver to reach victory lane in 2012.
Fourth starting Ryan Roberts finished a strong second while sixth starting Jeff Swindell, driving the Randy Washburn owned #0J, finished third. Ninth starting Mike Peters brought the #49 Mid-America Millwright sponsored #49 home fourth while former series champion Jeremy Campbell, currently fourth in the point standings, brought his familiar #10c home to a fifth place finish.
The ten lap heat races for the twenty-eight car field were won by Robe, Brown and Don Droud, Jr. while Patrick Stasa took home the twelve lap “B” feature victory.
