Sarver, PA — (June 6, 2013) — June is finally upon us and that means that Lernerville’s 2013 season is in high gear with an Action-packed month of Fab  Four Racing capped off by the 7th Annual Firecracker 100 presented GottaRace.com.  Three weeks of Fab Four Racing is on tap starting this Friday, June 7 on “Class of 2013” Night.  All 2013 High School and College graduates will be admitted free of charge with a copy of their diploma.  Two more big weeks of Fab Four Racing follow on June 14 and 21.  June 14 is our annual Holiday Races with Fireworks on #1 Cochran Automotive Fan Appreciation Night and June 22 is Fab Four Racing Mid-Season Championships.

Fresh off his first career Peoples TWP Sprint feature win, Brandon Spithaler leads the Budweiser Points outright after sharing the points lead heading into last week with now second place Jack Sodeman Jr.

John Garvin Jr.’s consistency has him atop the Bud Points in the Precise Late Models.  Garvin leads last Friday’s feature winner Michael Norris by three points, while defending Track Champion Jared Miley lurks in third just six markers behind Norris.

Mat Williamson and Corey McPherson continue to enjoy relatively comfortable leads in the Diehl Mods and Pic-A-Part Sportsman respectively.  Williamson scored his third feature win of the season last week and 2011 Track Champion Mike Miller scored his first feature win of 2013 in the Pic-A-Part Sportsman; Miller went on to win a pair of 305 Sprint features later last weekend at Mercer Raceway Park and Sportsman Speedway.

Last Friday’s Peoples TWP Dollar Energy Auction generated $519 dollars, which, (when matched by Peoples TWP), means over $1000 goes back into our community to help our friends and neighbors pay their energy bills!

As mentioned above, just three weeks stand between race fans and the biggest racing weekend in Western Pennsylvania as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the best Late Model pilots in the country descend on the Action Track for the 7th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com on Thursday-Friday-Saturday, June 27-28-29.

“Rocket Man” Josh Richards leads the WoO LMS point standings over Shane Clanton.  Clanton won the most recent Outlaws event at Stateline Speedway in northern PA and would love to join Scott Bloomquist and Jimmy Mars as two-time Firecracker Champions.  Clanton’s 2010 Firecracker victory will be recalled in this week’s Firecracker Flashback!

The Outlaws have four races scheduled in the coming weeks – two each in upstate New York & Ontario, Canada – before hitching their wagons in Sarvertown for the three-day Firecracker weekend.  Advance three-day reserved tickets are just $69, include a FREE pit pass upgrade for Thursday & Friday Nights’ programs and are available 24/7 at Lernerville.com by clicking the “Buy Tickets” tab.
